Sent from my iPhoneSlaughtering a cow is not easy work. It takes at least 5 strong guys. This is the first beef we've slaughtered. This vow was lame. We could not move her. We had to slaughter in the forest where she was lying down, then carry the meat out.

Received 7 news calves bought from Gerrie Rademeyer. They look good. 2 bulls. Seven cows.

They are at Sicelo's place. I could not get Calfgrow pellets from the koperasie. So sicelo is feeding them pig pellets. I am going to have to organise some pellets through the week, I don't want to loose any of these.
 I think they stand a good chance. They have arrived in spring and the cold weather is behind us.
