I spiral shaped pipe system growing tomatoes.
the white pipes are standard 75 mm diameter down pipes. I cut holes in them using a circle cutter drill attachment.

I stretched the plastic on bit by bit. I prefer to work completely alone.. So sometimes you have to be creative, especially with big or clumsy things.

The plastic is industrial grade tunnel plastic. From Rhino plastics in North End

The frame is made of recycled packing case timber.

I don't think I have spoken here about my continued attempts to buy the farm Gemoedsfontein East. It measures 10 ha and is about 20km out of town. Some forest, some pasture, some marsh and the near ruins of the original 100 year plus. Farm house.
